Steam Junk

I've lurked over on WonderStrange Arts for...I don't know how long now. But, they have a challenge this year to complete 50 Canvases in a year. Well, here's my first stab at it (even though I'm a week Late!)

A LOT of firsts with this one. (I.e. putting ANYTHING other than paint on a canvas, using alcohol ink, a smut novel page, printed tissue-style paper, Slide Mounts, copper wire, stamps (HA! Live and learn on that one!)...etc.). 

The challenge was to use stencils....BUT, since the move and searching for an hour, do you think I could find them? Nope. So, I kind of used some holey ribbon stuff to do one, but skipped the rest.  The colors are more vivid in life, and the base is gold paint, so it's shinier in life as well. 

REALLY happy at the result! ^^

I did my second today too, and that'll be posted here soon.
